  • 3-4” clean crushed limestone. This material is commonly used as a base for driveways and parking lots. It is also used in construction drives for heavy equipment. It can be hard to walk on because the pieces are so large. It cannot be shoveled by hand. It weighs 1.5 ton per cubic yard.
  • 1 1/2” down to dust packing crushed limestone. This material is used as a base underneath asphalt. When compacted, it will make a nice hard surface. It works well on muddy driveways and parking areas. The dust in the material can be messy and tracked in on shoes until it gets compacted down.
  • 1 1/2-2” clean crushed limestone. It is commonly used under railroad tracks. It is also used to fill deep over-digs, porches and garages when building. It is 1.5 ton per cubic yard.
  • 3/4” down to dust packing crushed limestone. It is commonly used a as the compactable base underneath brick and concrete pavers and as a base for retaining walls.   • 3/4-1” clean crushed limestone. This material is the most common driveway and parking lot topping. It is also used as a base underneath concrete. It is 1.25 ton per cubic yard.
  • 1/8" to 3/8“ clean crushed limestone. It can be used as a topping for driveways and parking areas. It is easy to walk on. If bigger SUVs and pick-ups are driving on it, it can get stuck in the treads of the tires. It is 1.25 ton per cubic yard.
  • 1/16-3/8” clean crushed limestone. It can be used instead of sand underneath pavers. It is 1.35 ton per cubic yard.
  • 1 – 1 1/2” clean rounded gravel. This material is used on rubber roofing and sometimes as a decretive ground cover. It is 1.5 ton per cubic yard.
  • 3/4 - 1” clean rounded gravel. It is used in drainage applications. 57’s are also used as a base underneath concrete. It is also common to use this material as back fill for foundations and in crawl spaces. It is 1.25 ton per cubic yard.
  • 1/8” TO 3/8" clean rounded or partially crushed gravel. Can be used as a decorative ground cover. It can also be used under concrete, and for backfill. Some use this material as a ground cover in dog kennels, but always checks with your veterinarian for a recommendation on material to use in the application. It is 1.25 ton per cubic yard.
